What is Ukulele Flash Mob?
Think of us a Roving Band of Rebel Ninja Pirate Ukulele Players.
We show up out of nowhere, engage in a little frolicking fun with some ukulele strums and we disappear into the mist as quickly as we appeared leaving people dazed and confused with a smile on their face.
For this Halloween 2021 event - two songs and out!
On Saturday Oct 30 at the UTC Mall we will be doing Werewolves of London and Monster Mash. After we finish the Monster Mash, we quickly disband (as if we don't know each other) and we meet up at a nearby location for some celebratory social time and maybe some “air high-fives” and a Tiki victory dance.For the Halloween Flash Mob we will meet up directly after the event in the UTC mall at the Fountain Plaza next to Starbucks and the Ice Skating Rink near the food court

Our Tiki Mission
The goal of the Ukulele flash mob is to have fun, build community, promote music and music education and support and promote local businesses in a positive fun and friendly way.Is this a free event?
Yes. The event is free.
The UTC Mall does charge for Parking. The parking fee is $2 per hour. The first two hours are FREE.
The actual event will be under an hour.
The UTC Mall will have Halloween Happenings, live music and all sorts of activities happening throughout the Mall before and after the Flash Mob.
Are the Lessons Free?
The lessons are Donation based.
We appreciate your support and it helps us do these events.
If you are hurting financially - no worries - we'd love to help.

What time does the Flash Mob actually start?
The event kicks off at 5:30 pm
Get there early and do some shopping. Drop in at the SECRET Flash Mob Location by the GIANT RED SHOE SCULPTURE 5-10 minutes before it starts. Tune your uke before you get to the Flash Mob location.
How will I know when to take out my uke and start strumming?
Wait for the Cue!
KEV will set up a music stand. somewhere near the Giant RED High Heal Pumps (see Video) and start the strum for Werewolves of London. As soon as that happens whip out your ukes and gather 'round, join in and start strumming. It's on!
How do I learn the Flash Mob tunes? Can you send them to me?
We will be doing 2 tunes.

What do we do after the Monster Mash is done?
Immediately Disperse! Walk away.
Then head to the Palm Plaza with the big fountain by the StarBucks near the Ice Rink and the Food Court. We will hang there for some much needed Tiki Social Time in the outdoor area. Get your favorite Libation, Grab some munchies and hang with your fellow Tikis!
Can I wear a Halloween Costume?
You bet. Monsters Welcome.
Dress up as your favorite monster! It adds to the fun.
You don’t need to wear a costume - but why wouldn’t you? After all... It’s Halloween!
Can I invite my friends? Do they have to play ukulele?
Friends Welcome. No ukulele? No problem.
Remember... it's a SECRET - so only invite 100 or so of your closest friends.
You can play along on your ukulele, or you can just sing along!
