A Baritone Ukulele is larger than a Tenor ukulele and tuned differently. Baritone ukuleles are tuned like the four high strings of the guitar. (G D B E) . They have a deeper sound and since they are basically a 4-string guitar many guitarists are attracted to them.

The disadvantage is most players in ukulele groups play Tenor, Baritone or Soprano ukuleles which are tuned generally to standard C6 tuning (GCEA). Almost all Uke Club Songbooks are made with the C6 tuned instrument chord diagrams. This could get awkward for a Baritone player.
