It’s Really All About Having Fun.
The Tiki Nation was created to be a fun place for people to share their common love of the ukulele and the lifestyle around it. This is a place for positive people who want to be a part of our Small Yet Mighty Ukulele Community. Having fun, being kind and helping others are the core principles of the Tiki nation. Please Review the Tiki Nation code of conduct and user guidelines.
1. Keep Posts Short & Concise
Posts should be short and to the point. Long posts may be difficult to read and therefore difficult to respond to.
2. Be Kind and Courteous
We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Be positive, be kind, be supportive.
3. No Hate Speech or Bullying, or Politics or Proselytizing.
Our goal is fun. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed. Disparaging remarks, slander, or personal attacks on someone’s character will not be tolerated and may result in being banned.
Politics has no place in the Tiki Nation. If you get into political debates in the Tiki Nation you may be banned.
While we encourage groups of all backgrounds and religions we strongly disapprove of proseltizing of any kind.
4. No Promotions or Spam
Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed. If you own a product and are actively selling it, or are selling any unsolicited products or services to members you may be banned.
5. Please Post in English ONLY.
English is the common language among our users. Non-English posts will be removed. In order for us to make our community a safe and positive community experience and to ensure we will not be censored or banned we must be able to monitor post activity to ensure nobody violates our Community Guidelines Policy. The Only possible way to do this is if we all post in a common language.
6. Respect Everyone’s Privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust and respect. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. When in doubt, ask permission.
7. Be Helpful and Supportive
Being part of a community can be an amazing experience. Be Helpful, supportive, kind and have as much fun as you possible can. If you know the answer to a question, chime in! If you can support or help someone – do it. The good karma will be worth it, we promise.
